Qw/ST and SP/CE?
Many of our boards feature special connectors for easy and reliable connections, eliminating the need for loose jumper leads and pin headers.
The main advantage of using Qw/ST and SP/CE boards is that you can wire your entire project without soldering, making it easy to disassemble projects and reuse components - nice!
Qw/ST uses a 4-pin JST-SH connector for I2C (power, ground, SDA, SCL) and allows daisy-chaining multiple devices. SP/CE uses an 8-pin JST-SH connector for more complex needs like SPI or UART, typically supporting one device per port.
Qw/ST ("Quest") combines Sparkfun’s "Qwiic" and Adafruit’s "STEMMA" systems, which are compatible. SP/CE stands for "Serial Peripheral Connector Evolution" our very own abomination of a backronym - you're welcome.
